I just love in home sessions! Staying in home for your newborn session is extra special, intimate and authentic. Photographing your baby, the family, extra kiddoes and your surroundings speaks volumes. You get to feel comfortable and at ease in your own surroundings. I'm honored every time people invite me into their homes to document such intimate moments.

I come to you and the other way around. This is especially beneficial when you’ve just brought home a new baby because odds are, you’re exhausted and the idea of packing up the van to go get photos done sounds like a nightmare! Everything you need for that baby is right there for you.

In home sessions are great for capturing more than just your family, love and connection. They also document your home! It’s where you and your family live and grow together and it’s an important piece to document, especially when bringing home a new little family member. And don't worry, your home does not need to be neat and perfect. There is no such thing as perfect. Even it's it's tiny, we can make it work. All we need is some window light, you and your baby.

Newborns have an incredibly sensitive immune system and exposing them to germs outside the home can be risky. If you’re introducing your new baby to siblings, it’s much easier to control their interactions in the comfort of your own home.
