Senior portraits are so important. I remember when it was time for me senior photo, I borrowed my sisters blouse, went to the school, posed that formal pose that everyone knows for the yearbook and celebrated when it was finally over.
Looking back now I can't believe 1) I looked like that 2) that photo shows nothing of who I was at the time. I had to look a certain way for the yearbook which meant I wasn't portraying my true self. At that time I was a budding artist, dancer, nature lover, wanna be traveler and great student. You couldn't see any of that from my senior photo.
This is exactly why it's so important to me to specialize senior photos to who you are. Show your spirit, skills, interests and talents.
