According to Wikipedia, “Lifestyle photography is a kind of photography mainly aimed to capture portraits of people in situations, real-life events or milestones in an artistic manner and the art of the everyday." To me, it means a style that is a mix of both documentary and classic portraiture mixed into one. It's a way to show families in a less stylized manner. Relaxed, natural, usually laughing and truly enjoying each other. Either at home or on location.
On Location Family Photography
On Location Photography is fun and playful. You can run around, laugh, tickle, dance, hug and kiss them all you want. It lets you and your children smile naturally. No a "cheesy" posed smile but a real genuine one. Doing these things allows us to capture real emotion and love your family shares.

At Home Family Photography
My at-home lifestyle sessions are designed to depict a day in your life doing what you enjoy with the ones you love. You often see these with newborns but it's so much fun to do as the family grows. These sessions are usually planned around some kind of activity that you love to partake with your kids. Could be cooking, reading, dancing, playing on the bed, kids playing with their toys, playing a game as a family or simply enjoying time together on the sofa. The reason for these sessions is to remember your family as they are. Remember the setting you were in at the time, your home, their bedrooms and all the love that fills those wall. It gives your kids a chance to be kids. Let them run, and play. I'll chase after them with my camera. The galleries are usually HUGE. I'm able to get and give so many images.
