Hi, I’m Kim Messina, a Massapequa family, maternity, and newborn photographer with a passion for documenting the moments that matter most. While families are at the heart of what I do, I also photograph maternity sessions, newborns, couples, seniors, and small businesses, creating images that tell authentic stories and celebrate meaningful connections.

My approach is all about capturing genuine emotion. I want your photos to feel natural, joyful, and full of life—not stiff or overly posed. During our time together, we’ll move, play, dance, laugh, and simply enjoy the moment. Whether it’s the excitement of expecting a new baby, the beautiful chaos of family life, the confidence of a senior year, or the story behind your business, I focus on the real interactions that make your story uniquely yours.

My goal is to create images that not only look beautiful but also bring you right back to how those moments felt. Your Massapequa Family Photographer

I strive to create timeless images capturing personality, soul and emotion. Using natural light and the beauty of the world around us, my goal when taking pictures is to show who you are without overdone posing or props. My images are timeless with the focus on you/your family. I am a true believer in natural and organic beauty. I love being able to share my images with clients and give them a gift that will last a lifetime. I married “Mr. Hauppauge” (if you live in the area you know what that means. lol) and have 2 amazing kids.

I first started out in photography years ago as a hobby and then it developed into a love. I got my first “fancy” camera when my son was born and finally decided to turn it into a profession years later. My background started out in dance, yoga and fine arts, then while in school changed to physical therapy and personal training. I love so many different things and certainly keep busy but with photography I get to express myself artistically by telling your story. I am able to give people some of the greatest gifts through that art.   Capturing moments in time, little smiles, tiny toes and love between people and families. Pictures help us remember who we were, what we looked like, what we felt and how we remember. They are cherished little bits of the past than can be passed down for generations. I love what I do and hope I get to share that with you.
