Hi There!
I'm Kim Messina. I am a Long Island, New York based photographer who strives to create timeless images capturing personality, soul and emotion. Using natural light and the beauty of the world around us, my goal when taking pictures is to show who you are, without overdone posing or props. My images are timeless with the focus on you/your family. I am a true believer in natural and organic beauty. I love being able to share my images with clients and give them a gift that will last a lifetime.
I first started out in photography years ago as a hobby and then it developed into a love. I got my first "fancy" camera when my son was born and finally decided to turn it into a profession years later. My background started out in dance, yoga and fine arts, then took a turn to the medical profession as a physical therapist and nutritionist. I love so many things and certainly keep busy but with photography I get to tell your story and am able to give people some of the greatest gifts through that art.
I love being able to capture moments in time, little smiles, life stages and love between people and families. Pictures help us remember who we were, what we looked like, what we felt and how we remember. They are cherished little bits of the past than can be passed down for generations.
